Yahoo! launches Internet time capsule project
Interesting project but we’ll see how it goes. Excerpt:
INTERNET firm Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq:YHOO) announced on Monday the launch of what it calls “the world’s largest time capsule in history.”
Starting Monday, Yahoo! will encourage people to contribute personal photos, stories, thoughts, ideas, poems, home movies and art to this electronic anthropology project designed to document life in 2006.
