My sources in government say this was bound to happen. Telof or the Telecommunications Office has been under the “direct supervision” Commission on Information and Communications Technology. Now, it’s back with the Department of Transportation and Communication.

MANILA, Philippines — The Telecommunications Office (Telof ) will be transferred back to the Department of Transportation and Communications (DoTC), Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said Wednesday.

Ermita said the Palace has signed Executive Order 603 transferring the agency from the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) to the DoTC.
