		<description>I was watching a C-SPAN segment about the topic a few weeks ago and one lawyer-panelist mentioned that the growing number of bloggers is threatening the journalism industry.  I think an area worth looking into would be the ethical issues.  Since not all bloggers are journalists and the Weblog form is more casual, they aren't expected to follow the same code of ethics journalists use. But responsible bloggers (and there are a lot of them) should recognize that they are publishing words publicly, and therefore have certain ethical obligations to their readers, the people they write about, and society in general.</description>
