Connecting, FB style

Count the hours you’re spending on Facebook, Twitter or Plurk. Even while you’re working, you keep your tabs open for these social networking accounts. Yes, it’s becoming addictive. But it’s also admittedly becoming an effective means of interaction/communication. Take this example. You’re off to, say, Singapore. First off, you would probably shoot an email to a friend via FB (facebook). Within the day, you’ve probably set a date to meet and dine.

Another example: Back then when you have a nagging question, you would call up a friend. Now, you would not think twice about posting that question on Twitter or FB. In most cases, you will get some answers in a few hours or minutes, depending on how fast your friends can type, heh).

Our lives are becoming so intertwined, thanks to social networks. :-)
